Description
Brand New Front Upper Control Arm Polyurethane Bushing Set (Axle Side)
Part Number: RK200 | Fits Dana 30 Front Axles
Product Overview
Upgrade your front suspension with this heavy-duty polyurethane bushing kit. Factory rubber bushings wear out quickly, crack, and can lead to expensive control arm or mount damage.
This premium polyurethane upgrade restores tight suspension geometry, improves steering response, and handles off-road abuse much better than stock rubber.

Important Technical Note for Buyers
You must reuse your factory metal outer shells for these bushings to fit. Do not press out or discard the original outer metal casings from your axle. Simply press, drill, or burn out the old inner rubber material, clean the inside of the shell, and slide these new polyurethane inserts into place in the cleaned out shell. Or if you need new shells see our other eBay listings for our DIY kits.
Tech & Installation Tips
-
- The “Burn and Ream” Method: The easiest way to remove the old rubber from the factory metal shell is to carefully use a propane torch to melt/soften the bond, then push or ream out the old rubber core with a wire brush, drill, or scraper.
- Do Not Heat the Polyurethane: Only apply heat to remove the old factory rubber. Never apply heat to your new polyurethane bushings.
- Lubrication is Critical: Polyurethane can squeak if installed dry. Generously coat the outside of the poly bushing, the inside of the metal shell, and the inner metal sleeve with a high-quality, water-resistant silicone or marine grease. Do not use petroleum-based grease, as it can degrade the material.
- Reuse the Outer Casing: Remember, do not press the actual metal shell out of the axle mount. If you accidentally remove the outer metal shell, these replacement inserts will be too loose to fit.
- Torque at Ride Height: Always wait to do your final tightening and torquing of the control arm bolts until the vehicle is sitting flat on the ground under its own weight. Tightening the suspension while it is hanging in the air on jacks can cause unnecessary stress and premature wear.
